Pilates Sculpt Classes

January 28, 2026

Pilates Sculpt is a hybrid workout class - combining strength training, ballet-inspired moves along with elements of Pilates and stretching. This class is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation and Human Resource Departments. Employees and Community Members are all welcome. Our facilities are the Civic and LNCC depending on the day. Class is free but donations are welcomed.

Murray Street Bridge to Partially Reopen on January 28

The Murray Street Bridge will partially reopen on a temporary basis on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, between 12 and 1 p.m., restoring limited access across the bridge while construction continues on the project. This reopening occurs earlier than the originally anticipated February reopening date and marks the conclusion of the project’s longest full closure.
